Happy New Year!
Or should that be "decade", or "century", or... omigod "millenium"? Now I feel pressured to have a spectacular collection of resolutions. I resolve to be this; I resolve to be that.
I resolve never to bother with resolutions again. Don't say it; just do it. A good excuse for failing to do what I should be doing. Blah.
Well, Y2K day has proven to be just like any other day. Man is the only creature on earth that keeps time, so I didn't really expect the sky to fall. As for the computers... well... man's creations are made of sterner stuff; I never really expected a huge meltdown of any sort, either.
Before 1999 ended, I managed to join a few Yahoo clubs in my quest to grow as a person and learn:
Writer's Cafe, The Ragamuffin Emporium, and
Digital Art. I may join a few more, just for the hell of it, but so far I'm fairly satisfied with the number I have now.
As for the
Fugue project, I cut it a little
too close to the due date this second time around, but I figured that it wouldn't
take me long, once I got started on it, since I'm an expert on my own personal
frustrations. Ack! Like I don't get enough of them.
I'm relieved a few people have finally found my
Easter Egg. I haven't heard any response from it, though. Won't someone
tell me what they think oapril@aprilgem.comf it?! I spent an hour on the DHTML alone!
