• version 4: Technicoloring Book
  (2000-07-17 through 2000-09-28)
  Built around the theme of color, crayons, and computers, this version features an animated box of digital crayons, lessons on color and art, and a javascript game of mix and match.
  
  
• version 3: Magic Hour
  (2000-02-08 through 2000-07-16)
  ...the 30 minutes on either side of sunrise or sunset. Built around a theme of twilight, movies, and magic, this version features sunset colors and dynamically animated fireflies in its design layout.
  
  
• version 2: Winter Holidays 1999
  (1999-11-26 through 2000-02-08)
  This version is built around the theme of winter holidays -- Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's Day, etc. -- thus the festive colors in the layout and the holiday topics in some of the content. This version also features the first "Easter Egg".
  
  
• version 1: Fall 1999
  (1999-09-26 through 1999-11-25)
  The first layout -- simple, easy, and built around the theme of fall. The design's dominant image is of autumn leaves on trees and on the ground.
