Reviews

I started doing film reviews in the previous version of the site when I realized how often I went to the movies. I'm not exactly a movie buff, and my taste is somewhat on the commercial (rather than the artsy) side, but I figured I would be doing at least one person a service by putting in my own two cents about a film before he or she went to see it.

In this version of the site, I thought I'd add book reviews as well. I don't read nearly as much as I used to, so the additions to this category will likely be few and far between. As in movies, my taste is more on the commercial rather than the classic side; I also prefer genre to mainstream, specifically science fiction and fantasy (what I like to call speculative fiction).

I've also considered doing site reviews, as I often find myself surfing the net for eye candy, but my old computer (100 mhz processor, 16 MB ram, and 28.8 K modem) can't handle most of the sites I'd like to see. -I need speed-

Other reviews up for consideration are music CD's and restaurants. The CD's will have to wait until I can afford to buy my much missed music regularly again, and the restaurant reviews may not even happen at all--far too revealing about where I live and what my daily routines are... Ick.
