Activity

Interactivity is a wonderful thing.

Most personal home pages have a collection of the webmaster's writing, art, and links. I wanted to add a little more than that so I've included a section where visitors can participate.

In my first version of the "a p r i l" site, I posted a Madd Lib type activity where the participant enters words in javascript dialogue boxes for their own personalized story. I also posted a Choose Your Own Adventure type of activity where the participant makes decisions in a story line that affect the ending.

My second version of the "a p r i l" site featured a better Madd Lib form, as well as a Build Your Own Web Site activity, a recipe for fruit salad, and an Easter Egg Hunt that yields a fortune-telling piece of animation to those who find the "treasure".

All activities in both versions can be easily found in the
In this version, however, the activities in which I spent the most time setting up are actually hidden throughout the site, rather than based solely in the activity section.

Yes, I have a somewhat twisted mind in that way. If you're interested in finding these hidden activities, check under
easter egg hunt for more details.

In the meantime, here are the not-so-hidden (and less spectacular) activities for this section:
