About the Site

Aprilgem.com is the personal web site of April "aprilgem" Martinez. The site began as an AOL member page in September 1999 and currently resides on web space provided by Dreamhost.

The various tools used to create the site include a variety of programs, but the primary tool is an intimate knowledge of HTML. In fact, the first four versions of the site were created entirely in code with a plain text editor and an inexpensive graphics program. This skill is definitely available for hire.
