Old Stuff
It’s been ages since I’ve posted about any of my crafts, but I just sent a couple of them off to people so it’s probably time.
This one (photo taken with the iPhone) is a little cat blanket I made for Minnie’s cat, Arianna. It’s a little bit like the one I made for my cat, but in a different pattern, and I made it with the yarn I had left from doing previous projects.
My cat likes her blanket, which I keep spread out at the foot of the bed on my side. If I don’t already have a much softer fleece blanket laid out, it’s her favorite spot.
This next one is a lap blanket I made for my godmother. Or, if I go by what another recipient of another one of my projects said, it’s a cat catcher, a blanket laid out on a couch somewhere that will inevitably attract a cat to come and lie on it. It’s much, much bigger than the cat blanket, but the pattern is more blocky.
Right now, I’m working with different colors (thank God!). I just finished a project in shades of pink, about which I’ll post another time, and I’m getting ready to start another project in yellows.

These are beautiful April!! I really should make something like this for my boys.
I like the pattern, G. It’s something you’d see in a bed spread/cover.
I like the shades of greens, but I’m glad you’re working on different colors.
Remember to keep April 11 free.
Love you.
April–
Hey. Great to have you back posting some stuff. The blankets you crocheted are really pretty. I know that takes some time and I’m sure are much appreciated.
I thought of you today, a co-worker was telling about the time she was on a field trip and they were eating at some restaurant where they cook the food in front of you and somehow a small fireball came up with the plate of food as he was handing it to the sponsor lady and she had waist length hair and her hair ended up catching on fire. It sounded pretty horrible. She was ok although she wound up losing most of the length of her hair. They said the restaurant paid for her to go to a hairdresser but I would think she could’ve gotten some money from them in the form of a lawsuit if she had wanted too.
Anyway, I guess your long hair hasn’t been lost in any fires or shorn off by a pair of scissors?
Are you willing to sell these? They are beautiful.
Hi, Gina! I’ve already sent these off — the first to Minnie and the second to my godmother. But I could make make more like them if you wish to buy something like these from me. Just let me know what colors you’d like. 🙂
