Six Things About Me
I know now that LynTaylor has a blog because she tagged me, and while I’m hard put to find six random facts about me that aren’t already on a previous list, I’m even harder put to find six other bloggers to tag. Yet, here I go anyway:
1. I often use words and phrases to which I don’t know the meaning—like “hard put” for instance. I don’t even know if I use that correctly. What the hell does it mean?
2. To my utter frustration, I have never risen above the vocabulary level of 47 while giving Free Rice, quite possibly because of the first fact above.
3. Despite the first two facts above, I still kill at Scrabble. Hey, I don’t have to know the definition of the word; I just have to know the word exists and can get me a 80-point Bingo. So there!
4. I have never been clinically diagnosed as having Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but H.E. still insists that I have OCD. Only, he defines it as Occasionally Compulsive Disorder because I’m obsessive-compulsive only some of the time.
5. It took me all of yesterday and today to come up with a list of six people to tag. I kept adding to and deleting from the list because I couldn’t decide, and then I went searching for people I never tagged before, then replaced them with people I know who need a little extra traffic or a blog topic, then replaced them with people who don’t mind memes and have the time to do them, then started all over again until I had no one to tag and had to come up with six fresh names for the list. I still don’t think I’m obsessive-compulsive, but you know me; I may not know the true meaning of that.
6. I finally got my six people to tag off one of my publishers’ forums. I simply asked, “Who wants to be tagged?” Then I selected the first six people to respond. They are:
The Rules (Screw the rules! Do what you like.)
- Link to the person that tagged you
- Post the rules on your blog
- Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself
- Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs
- Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website
I couldn’t comment on Violet’s blog because I don’t have a MySpace account, and that tiny violation of the rules is going to bother my occasionally compulsive disorder like nothing else on this earth will!
Aauurrgghh!
OK, that compulsive moment has passed. On to the new things.

April, nice to have found your blog. Happy to have been tagged. (But you gave away the secret that I am desperate for people to stumble into my corner of the web… unlike spiders, I promise not to eat them for lunch!) I’ll have my six things posted by tomorrow.
Thanks, April
Now if I can only figure out how to link to you!
Meanwhile I’ll post my six things by tomorrow, too!
‘hard put’ means you will have a difficult time accomplishing a task. “I was hard put to come up with six friends to tag.” “I was hard put to take a shower without crashing into the soap holder.”, etc… 🙂
I told Pepper I had to wait until Saturday to post my six things because it would take me that long to find 6 people to tag. When she said not to worry about that part, I explained I couldn’t. She asked, “Are you afraid of the blog police?”
No, I’m obsessive and absolutely bow to rules, thank you very much, lol. But at least I know now I’m not the only one. 🙂
Nina, hey, they don’t really know that, lol. I started fresh with my list, remember? 😉
Jeanne, no problem! I hope you have it posted by now. 🙂
H.E., shhh! No one knows how clumsy I really am. Well … until now, that is. 😛
Vivien, I’m so glad I’m not alone, either!! 😀
LOL! Thanks for being a good sport April 😀 I’m not usually one for passing things on but thought it would be a bit of fun. Good idea about going the the publisher forum – I’ll remember that next time as I think I’ve done my dash with the few people I know of LOL! Cheers!
