I was supposed to have posted, but I’m drowning in e-mail and playing catch up. I’ll be out of town for a week in October, so I’m trying to get ahead. I managed to knock out a few things at LSB (nine covers, go me!), and in the next few days I’ll be knocking out a bunch of stuff for LI. After that, freelance stuff.

And somehow, in all that, the blog fell by the wayside. I had planned on writing some flash fiction, but ack! I looked at the clock one minute and realized it was way after midnight.

Maybe next time.

So if you’re in the queue, I’ll get to you eventually, and if you want to be in the queue, plan for at least a couple months of waiting. Right now is just too swamped, and with the summer heat still going strong, I can stay at the computer for only so long during the day—my office is in the hottest room in the place, and it makes it very unpleasant to work without a cooling break. This is why I’ve been crocheting like a fiend—I get to do it in the coolest room in the place, my bedroom, parked on the bed in front of the television set, right below a ceiling fan, and right beside an open window with a nice breeze and cool tree shade.

But oh! So much work to do. Wish me luck as I dive back into e-mail.
