Because I paint pictures on my calendar, my posts have become prime real estate for all the things I want to blog, so I’ll be putting up my latest work a little less frequently.

A question, which you don’t have to answer (of course you don’t, it’s your blog, but I’m just saying): That Alien Communion book, are those Poser characters? It’s so different from all the other ones on this page.
Were you asked to use Poser characters because they didn’t think aliens could be done with human models?
If it’s Poser, it certainly is one of the best I’ve seen with Poser characters. If it isn’t, heh, I think the female character overacts a lot.
Estara, yes, those are Poser characters, and while I do occasionally get asked to do them, I didn’t do them for Alien Communion. The cover art for that one was originally done by one of the best Poser artists I know, Will Kramer, as I note in the text next to the bar code (Cover Illustration: Will Kramer. Cover Design: April Martinez). I merely laid out the cover flat for Alien Communion.
Just added the notation so people can see it. 🙂
Cool. In my old mmorpg we had a lady playing a priestess Talshaya Trueheart who did amazing stuff with poser characters. http://www.darkages.com/community/art/Talshaya_Summoner.jpg

I’ve been awed at what you can do with Poser since.
I’m going to come out and say that I finally own one of your own poser works (I think…), as the erotic comedy omnibus The Syndicate has finally made its way to my flat via Amazon.de. The book so far actually deserves the comedy erotica hype andn I take it that the poser characters are the characters in the book.
I wonder if the metal skeleton guy is the A.I. of the ship (I love them calling it Mary Sue) or if I haven’t read far enough yet to know (on page 74).
