Latest Work, 2007 Week 14
I was utterly lazy this week and managed to get only four covers approved (not to mention I failed my daily treadmill and sketching goals), and I didn’t realize until now that the covers this week are all either red or blue. The titles spell out kind of a whimsical and prophetic sentence, too.
Silly Fears: Earth Awakened Into the Flame, Waiting for the Big One.
Makes me wonder if it has anything to do with global warming or earthquakes. Perhaps it’s telling us that global warming’s effects will explode long before we have a huge earthquake, id est, sooner than we think. Or maybe someone named Silly fears that the earth is heading fast into global warming long before any earthquakes will be due. Hm. Okay. Makes me wonder if some of my other covers from weeks prior spell out any special messages.
Let’s see … In Search of Flesh, Impassioned Sea, The Gates of Infinity. Nope. That makes about as much sense to me as a selection of Tarot cards, and I don’t read Tarot cards. Or maybe it’s saying that while in search of flesh, the impassioned see the gates of infinity?
How about … Seducing the Hermit Leashed More Than a Bargain. Sounds pretty good and actually makes sense as it is!
There’s also … The Outcast Under a Rogue Moon—Forbidden. I guess that means werewolves are not allowed when the full moon is out.
And yet more uninterpreted title messages:
- A Master’s Love Giving Up the Ghost—The Average Girl’s Guide to Getting Laid
- Bloodlines Currents Wish Upon a Prince, Hunting Hawk
- Alter Ego Unclose Me / Bloodlines Night Journey
- When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, Better Not Cry—Sacred Revelations
- The Team Price of a Tattooed Soul: Plain Jane
- Courtesan: Dangerous Cravings
- The Russos Secrets in the Annex, Bedding the Beast.
- Stranded, Colorado Gold Night Moves.
What in heck are my covers trying to tell me anyway?

I adore the Bridget Midway one. It’s fabulous.
Got the right audience then! I think that one’s an interracial romance. 🙂
Waiting for the Big One.
