I can’t let this day pass by without updating my blog, and I haven’t had a chance to write anything, so here’s another sampling of my daily doodles.

This first item is a bag of potpourri which I bought in Rhode Island the day after Minnie’s wedding. Somehow the communication lines got crossed between me, Minnie, and Nikki, so I ended up spending the time I had before my flight all by myself. I walked to the local shop, took a few photos, and bought myself some souvenirs. This is one of them. I have another bag of potpourri named Apple Harvest, from the same shop. I also bought New England salt water taffy. Slurp!

This second item is a stuffed bunny with bag handles on its back. It’s very small, most likely for little girls with little toys that they can hide in the little compartment between the handles. So naturally, H.E. bought it for me. I am extremely lucky to have found a man who is as much a little boy as I am a little girl. Even if I were not around, he’d buy stuffed toys for himself. I am merely an excuse.

One of these days, I’ll get around to drawing the stuffed bear sitting up in my loft with a stuffed frog and a stuffed duck. The bear is nearly as big as I am, and he and his companions are also gifts from H.E. Not to mention Elmo, my two Ernies, several more bunny rabbits, bears, and weird little creatures.

Now you see why I got him a stuffed kangaroo, koala, and wombat from Oz.
