Photo Friday: Best of 2006
I don’t really have a Best of 2006 shot, since no single shot of mine last year seriously caught my attention. But this is one of my many, many favorites of 2006. Taken in Australia, specifically at the Ayers Rock Resort, near the Lost Camel hotel. I can’t believe he let me shoot so many pictures of him.
The detail in his feathers look better in the larger sized version.

This is fabulous, April! The details in his feathers are good, no doubt, but what most caught my eye is his beak and the yellow mess all over from the pollen. Greedy little fella. 🙂
