Minnie Takes the Cake
I’ll bet you never saw a wedding cake like this. Minnie told me the cake maker was excited because no one had ever asked for a gingerbread house on a wedding cake before. Trust Minnie to be original. Even her table and name cards were thoughtful and unique, her illustrations gracing each of them so that if you had a pumpkin on your name card, you knew to sit at the pumpkin table. Table numbers? What? Don’t be so conventional.
I haven’t actually had a chance to go through my photos yet, but I realize it’s been a while since I posted, so I looked for something cool to post and decided on this.
By the way? That gourd on the left? I’ve dubbed him Al Gourd, and he is going to save the world.

That is a great picture and an amazing cake! I love weddings that aren’t traditional. Looks like you had a great time.
Oh, this is superb. I knew your photos were going to be much better than mine! Can’t wait to see more!
Sidenote: that cake tasted fantabulous!
That photo rocks! We got to enjoy the leftovers (of both fillings) for about a week after. 😀
So glad to see some wedding photos. We are (im)patiently awaiting Dan Doke’s images! We should take up on Nikki’s idea of starting a Flickr group for wedding photos, candids and otherwise.
