Black Legs, Yellow Feet
I am the paparazzi of birds. I stalked this little guy around the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve Sunday morning, and I managed to get this shot among many. It’s a wonder I’m not a birdwatcher. I probably should be.

If your birdwatching gets any more serious, I’ll be forced to recommend a really great lens for you, the Nikon 80-400. It is an INCREDIBLE nature lens. It really lets you reach out and touch your subjects, with an equivalent 600mm on your camera!
Holy canoli. I just did a search for the Nikon 80-400 lens, and it’s like $1,400. I’d have a hard time feeling comfy being out and about with such expensive equipment, but it looks really, really nice! It’d be great for capturing good surfing shots at the beach, too.
Most definitely! Yes, it’s a whopper, and costs a couple of pennies for sure!
