Just Got Back

Just Got Back

Left a place full of love, support, and understanding, where everyone clearly cares for each other and accomodates one another. Came back so happy and eager to share my experience, only to have a dark ride home, where nothing I did was right and two thousand e-mails were waiting for me.

Oh, well. I can’t think about that right now. If I do, I’ll go crazy. I’ll think about that tomorrow.

Tomorrow is another day.

  1. Good to have you “Back”!!!!!!! We’re right here waiting for you to share, virtually, as the case may be…

  2. I hope the 2,000 e-mails didn’t send you insane. 🙂

I know the feeling about being gone on an exciting trip and then when you get back home and try to share your experiences with people–sometimes they aren’t as excited to hear about them as you are to tell about it. And then it’s also a little depressing to get back home and go back to the normal routine after you’ve been doing cool stuff. The latter probably doesn’t apply to you for this trip though since it was so short. Regardless, Hopefully everything is better now!

  3. As short as the trip was, I actually got to do a lot of things I’d never done before. I went boating at Coventry Lake and did some swimming in something other than a pool or the ocean. And if I’d gotten any sleep the night before, I might have even tried wake boarding while I was at it. I also got my first manicure and my first experience shooting a wedding.

All in all, it was a good experience. 🙂 But I am definitely going to try to ski or wake board next time I visit!
