Illustration Friday: Cold
Late, again. I put this off because I’m still way, way behind in my freelance work, but I promised myself I would do these once a week without fail for the sake of building up some kind of illustration portfolio, so I started on this yesterday after re-reading the story illustrated.
Like last time, brownie points go to the first person who guesses the story.
Side note: had I gone the lazy route, I would have posted an old commissioned piece, and this would have been that piece:

I think this is Hans Christian ANdersen’s The Snow Queen, which is not nearly as well known as some of his other works. Beautiful illo.
