Hm. Now I’m on a mission to read everything on this list. I already have some of these books, which have been sitting unread on my shelves. I’ll have to blow the dust off them when I get the chance.

Why on earth is Little House on the Prairie banned? The Little house books were staples of grade school reading. Laura Ingalls in later life lived about 15 miles from my grandparents house. They have a musuem there now.
I’ll have to scroll thru the list again but that one jumped out at me.
I know! Isn’t that weird? I couldn’t figure that one out either.
Julie of the Wolves??? I read that in fifth grade. It’s a fantastic book for kids, and adults, for that matter, about surviving in difficult circumstances. There’s nothing bad about it!
And people think censorship is bad nowadays. 🙂
Several of those were *required* reading when I was in high school (early 80’s).
I understand that some of these books probably aren’t banned much at all–the ones lower on the list. It’s just that it you’re going to make a list of banned books that reaches 110…well some book has to be 110, even if it’s not banned much. So maybe that explains part of it….I’d like to think so.
What I’d really like to know is where these books are banned — I never want to go there!
Well im not too sure about the other 109 but Im shocked to see The Quran and the Bible is in the list the books of guidance the bible however has lost its authentication and origanality but hey kindly get these two books removed.
I didn’t create the list of banned books, Husayn. This is just a copy of the top 110 books that are banned all the world over; I found the list online somewhere. I guess in some parts of the world, governments or people ban the Quran and the Bible. I don’t know where they do that, though.
