Odds and Ends #1: Lemon Drops

Odds and Ends #1: Lemon Drops

I’m in a good mood today. I hit a lemon out into the left field, and now I’m running bases. By this time next week, I should be extremely busy but home free, and I’ll talk about the details then. I’d had such different plans for the last two weeks; I meant to post another installment of topsy-turvy pictures (the graphics you see on this page), and I meant to post a few amusing entries (well… amusing to me anyway), but in the meantime, I have just these, a couple of odds and ends:

Last night I saw a couple of cute license plates, one being LMA BEAN and the other being FRUT CKE. The vehicle that had the FRUT CKE license plate also had a bumper sticker that read, “I believe in dragons, good men, and other fantasy creatures.” Hmm… me, too!

April: [“doing” her nails]
H.E.: What are you doing?
April: Filing my nails… I’m filing them under N.
H.E.: Hmm, o-o-oka-a-ay. Did you set your alarm clock?
April: Yes, I did… I set it on the nightstand.
H.E.:
H.E.: I hate it when you’re in a good mood.

Yes… I’m in a very good mood today. 🙂

  1. Glad to hear it April!! I think I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel myself. I finally realized that the light was always there, I just didn’t raise my head high enough to see it.

  2. okay, april and broch, just keep praying for me. i am still in the tunnel and i know the light is there around the bend but, Damn! the flashlight just went dead. i’ll get back to ya on this.

  3. Happy April = Happy Minnie. 🙂

Pam? I don’t know you at all, but I do hope whatever it is that’s troubling you passes soon.

    *sending warm vibes*

  4. Speaking of good moods…

I just read your source. Now, thanks to your naming scheme, i too am in a fabulous mood.

  5. I saw two good bumper stickers today:
    1) Jesus didn’t die for your sins; you’re ugly.
    2) (On a Pontiac Aztec) Yes, I know it’s ugly.
