This is what I’m working on right now—a cartoon cover for Suz deMello’s Seducing the Hermit. The hermit is the hero of the book. He’s the one being run over by the heroine driving the Volkswagen bug. Only twice have I seen this technique work—that is, this technique of running down with your car the person of your desire. Once was in another book, only I can’t remember offhand which book it was.
