poem (sort of)

 

"Please pass the salt. This dish is bland.
I think it needs a little hand."

"Well, here you are -- but not too much!
With salt, you only need a touch."

"The pepper, too, please -- right this way.
It's much too much like eating hay."

"Well, here you are -- but please be wise!
Too much would really sting your eyes."

"Ah, now it's ready for a taste --
This dish of mine won't go to waste."

"So eat! Don't let it sit too long;
It might get cold and -- hey, what's wrong?"

He gulped some wine and roared like Kong,
"My seasoned fare is much too strong!"
